Travel Dates!

After almost 7 weeks since our referral, on 11/14 we finally received our travel dates of 12/4 - 12/17. Yaay! Right? We had baby shower #1 on Saturday, had a ton of people at our house, it was fun, it was exhausting, we received some much needed baby stuff and clothes and were so happy to tell our friends and family of our dates. Well, come Monday morning, those dates went out the window! Due to some unforseen event happening in Nanning that week, our agency decided it would be best to postpone our trip by a week. At first I thought, oh good, a little extra time to prepare. So yesterday we were given new travel dates of 12/12 - 12/24. Yaay, again! Right? Little did I know just how difficult it would be to purchase "reasonable" airline tickets during this time. Today was probably the most challenging day in this whole process. But I know it will all work out as everything always does. So, on to baby shower #2 this Friday and #3 on Saturday.

Waiting but busy

Yes, we're still waiting for our travel approval. Our agency sent us an email this week saying, yes you're still waiting. But we are within the normal time period for travel, so I'm sure it's just a matter of days now. Maybe next week. But we have been busy. Getting our house ready for the "big reveal" when everyone comes for the baby shower. Not many people have seen our remodel since it was finished. Finally getting Anna's room ready. We painted her room over 2 years ago. I bought furniture over a year ago. I bought the bedding over the summer. You'd think we'd be done already, huh?
