Last Day in Beijing

We started our day with an orientation by holt on what we should expect while in the provence because of the cultural differences. At the end of the orientation we were given a test when they showed pictures of all six babies on the screen and asked if we could identify our babies. They have all changed so much since the last pictures no one could tell which child was theirs. We were all given books with new pictures and details of our babies likes and dislikes. We also found out that most of the  babies including Anna have been in foster care for several months. Since the last pictures we saw of Anna with very little hair, she's changed. She now has a full head of hair and has this Elvis like flip going on.

After our orientation we went sight seeing and were able to visit The Temple of Heaven and Tian'anmen Square. Its very intimidating having people staring at you and actually grabbing onto you and speaking Chinese to you. There is no such thing as personal space here. We've also had young people come up to us and want their pictures taken with us.

Well we leave early tomorrow morning to Nanning and we will finally get Anna sometime in the afternoon. We will try and post again tomorrow.
